What macro ratio's and calories per lbs should a pregnant women eat and does this change through the pregnancy?
yah like he said 300 cals over maintainence is enough. I hate it when girls say "I am eating for 2" bullshit excuse to eat whatever they want. then they complain when they put on 70lbs.
my wife lieterly stuck to her plan and she was due just the other day. still has not had our boy yet. she was a really fit girl and she gained 30lbs. she looks amazing. you cant even tell from behind that she is prego. didnt gain any in the face either. I am so so proud of her.
she eats something like this
protein bar with large glass milk
tuna sandwich or rice cakes with tuna
apple with peanut butter or sald with dressing and eggs maybe orange with it
peanut butter and jelly sandwich
protein bar with milk again
she has a cheat meal of whatever once or twice a weak. chipotle burrito, subway burger and fries, etc. she also drinks a ton of water, multivitamin and fish oil pills
she started off doing some weight training. this gradually got harder. now she walks for about an hour 4 or 5 times a week and does some flexibility training and bodyweight squats
