Septoplasty and then some - Experiences, recovery, eating?

Getting a septoplasty done. While in there, the doc is going to dig/scoop/bore out my sinus cavities as well as to ablation on the sinus' and nasal cavity to reinforce it's structure. Anyone had experience with this?
Recovery, pain, back to training, eating, results?

Hey, following up on this. How did your surgery go? Did it help with your breathing troubles and how long were you away from lifting?

Shit I got one coming up next week on Monday, right after a hernia surgery this thursday. Getting a hell of a tune-up

I had this done about 8 years ago. best thing i did, used to get chronic sinus infections every time i got sick, have not had one since.

Recovery was slow but from memory eating was not to bad. I had about 8 weeks off gym. Probably more than i needed

I took a week off, if I remember correctly. Started back with cardio and light full body routine.
Getting the stitches cut and stints pulled was crazy uncomfortable.

If they are using diamond tip drill bits to go through bone could be 3-6 months for internal remodeling. More complex like a septa rhinoplasty could be 6-12 months. Nerves will take some of the longest times to heal.
