Start running dude. And try to run repeats at the speed you need to do the 1.5 in 13 minutes.
What's the math? 400 meters in 90 seconds? Walk 90 seconds, repeat. Then go to 800 meters. Condition yourself to run at the right pace. A slow walk does you no good. Hit me up if you want. I no a little about this stuff.
How long do have to prepare? Where are you at now? A stimulant pre-race will help. I'd use a ECA stack if I were you.
