Ensure adds HMB to there widely used and advertised nutrition drink. I'm curious if anyone has any good results with HMB? I used it years ago, nothing really good happened. I generally follow the if its legal its likely crap idea...
That's a marketing stretch. Adding HMB to Ensure? What a joke. Reminds me when MetRx had HMB. 1.5 grams per dose. Actually, if you took a packet every couple hours you miiiight get some benefit from HMB.
Yeah Bill Phillips and his HMB claim, "feels like deca", your are supposedly natty, Mr. Phillips, how would you know? Never got anything out of it either, and nobody is going to get anything from it from the dose they are putting in their ensure.
OK, I'll admit it was a stupid question. I was just surprised to see a mainstream product that seems to have overwhelming market share link itself to snake oil. The are running ads on TV with it....
Imagine all the geriatric folks thinking this is some new miracle ingredient that will make them strong and virile again.
Meanwhile we're all shaking our heads.
Hey, my grandma takes ONE fish oil cap from Costco a day and she swears she feels better from it. Even after I preached to her 'til I was blue in the face about the right way to take fish oil (not taking Costco brand is a start).
when you need **broken link removed** for you or someone else, better to find **broken link removed** at
affordable prices to trade online in 2011.. you can try grants or **broken link removed** ask for financial assistance in your townhall.
LOL, "feels like deca," and creatine feels like dbol. Bill made a killing off that one line while killing half of his hardcore fans at the same time. I remember the boards in 96/97 when that went to press, and everybody and their mom was ragging on him at elitefitness, Anabolex, Meso and m.f.w....lol.
Then you had Poliquin stating it was the secret to all his1996 olympic trainees (or was that the bobsled team).
The funny part is....I was stubborn up to that point and actually stuck up for him on a few posts in 1997 at EF, and got reemed on big time by all the other vets, most of whom I was friends with. They gave me a lashing. Then, Dan Duchaine, wo posted there under various alias names, emailed me laughing and told me that HMB sucked and to not waste my money on it.
