estrogen may be responsible for sex drive

I saw some research last night.Some doctors were treating some men that had never had a sex drive .They all had the same symptoms belly fat lethargic no interest in sex prone to diabetes.The doctor tested hormone levels presumimg it may have been low test but all five guys (shown) had normal test but low estrogen.They gave these guys estrogen replacement and there sex drive went through the roof.So they tried it out on a rat ,they erased the estrogen from the rats body and the result was no sex drive from the rat and he plumped up to twice the normal size.

I think there are a couple of things bodybuilders can think about an they are taking test may not be the cause of increased sex drive it may be the estrogen increase causing it.What role does estrogen play in reducing bodyfat? How important is estrogen to muscle gains.There is already some research pointing out that muscle gains on gear are greater if estrogen is present but the other two points are interesting as well.

Sounds like a lot of old women I've met...

Unfortunately recent studies indicate estrogen replacement in these women signifigantly increases their risk of contracting breast cancer.

I wonder if men are immune to this. I've noticed an increased difficulty with sex when I am taking anti-e's (Clomid). Not positive it's the cause, but something I will study further.

Any other ideas on this?

This is nothing new

Everyone should know this.

Having estrogen (E2) too low or too high negatively effects libido.

For most people using AAS, it is due to in being too high.

Anti-Arom. can make it drop too low as well.

This explains the huge increase in libedo that I got from unconverted (estrogen still left in )Synovex. I also got some growth behind my nipples that went away after 3 months by quiting Synovex. I then waited a few more months and converted synovex and took out the estrogen and never had a problem with growth behind my nipples but I never had the sex drive I had with the unconverted synovex ( estrogen still in it). To be honest i didn't like beeing horny all the time and neither did my wife. I think it is best to have approximately the same sex drive as your partner.
