Experience coming OFF metformin?

Yo NH it's Now Krill, I didn't use any starting yesterday fuck it lets see what happens this issue has plagued me long enough.

Also I forgot, are you using creatine? I'm also using kre alkalyne daily.

So listen to this. I decided not to have my evening dose last night and morning dose of krill this morning. Issue started to not seem quite as bad. So I decided to take krill around 30 hours since my last dose. Seems to be worsening again. On another note, I skipped my earlier dose of cialis, so I’m going to guess it’s one or the other, or it’s just my body in general. I will skip the next day or so of krill again and see.

And yes been using creatine for 14 years with breaks in between. 100% can say it’s not that.

Okay good we can knock out the creatine then. The cialis yea we know 100% that will lead to heartburn but I didn't take my krill yesterday and I don't need any omeprazole/rantidine YET today.....interesting.

Keep me updated and I'll do the same....

Yea reason I didn't think it was Cialis is because I stopped using it daily before and it didn't go away. But it also stays in our system 36 hours and I didn't take long breaks. So it could be that or the krill.

I gotta tell you NH if you’re consistently using the cialis that would be my #1 culprit. I sparingly use the cialis and I know when I do it’s automatic heartburn.

But that being said I’ve gone the whole day without any burning or acid trying to come up my throat, I also had coffee today which usually gets me. I would be fucking smitten if it was as simple as dropping the krill....

It’s just one day though we’ll see.

I took a 10mg dose of cialis and the heartburn was unbearable. Have to take it again tomorrow though because the lady is coming over but I won’t take the krill

Haha I get it bro I would do exactly the same!

I saw this thread the other day and wanted to comment but I had so many pm's I left it. It seems you may have found the culprit. I was going to originally state with the amount of supplements you take it would be hard to know. That it could also be more than 1 contributing to the issue. To perhaps drop 80% and see how you are then keep adding 2 back every few days and accessing things.

When I first read your opening post I thought of things like apple cider vinegar, alpha lipoic acid, cialis, nac etc.

Now you have taken cialis I would leave the krill for a few days. Although cialis is active for so long it's probably going to be that. You will have to just not use it for 1 week and see if the problem goes away.

I know you have but can't remember the details but how is Vardenafil for you? Any heartburn from that? Perhaps you could rotate that one in. I would personally have a long break from PDE5 inhibitors as it sounds like you have been on cialis at a high doses for ages. It can get to a point you mentally think you need it and without it you have physical issues due to that mental need. Cialis is a great drug but I would definitely recommend a break if it's causing severe heartburn. 95% of viagra makes me feel bad and I recall it's not great for you either. Most tend to be cialis or viagra and not both from my experience. Vardenafil is good for me though and feels like a shorter version of tadalafil for me.

Actually I got Vardenefil after we spoke about it but haven't used it yet. Maybe I'll take that instead of Cialis today. You don't get any heartburn on it?

I'm glad it's not Metformin because that's a terrible thing to drop lol. It's not ACV either (which is supposed to help, anyways)

I went all the way back through my Amazon purchase history and saw I first purchased krill oil in October 2016. I've had this issue for longer than that. I kind of think it's Cialis even though I once thought it was not. I can't take much more of this GERD stuff. It's getting worse and worse. Took me over an hour and a half to fall asleep last night because I couldn't stop belching.

Well what I was thinking either way was that it's not actually the krill itself but the krill in combination with something else we're using. It's day two no krill and I still haven't needed any heartburn meds. This weekend will be the real test as I foresee some patron and coronas in my immediate future....

Vardenafil/levitra doesn't give me any bad sides effects. Perhaps a little facial flushing and heat but nothing bad at all. I have only used 20mg tabs for reference. I have only used them pre workout but it stays active a good few hours (half life about 4-5 hours). It feels more like a short cialis to me in the sense the lack of side effects. Viagra causes many more sides for me but a starting dose for that is 50mg. I have tried 25mg viagra and it works but sides are still an issue so the others are much better for me.

Like Rambo ACV done the opposite for me. I remember the first time I used it years back it was the first time I have ever experienced heart burn. As you stated generally it helps others though. I have metformin but haven't bothered dosing it. I will restart but I doubt I will ever go above 500mg per day. I don't plan to use insulin again and if I do tiny amounts but as you know metformin has many benefits. I am trying to cut my supps down at the moment as they started mounting up and I don't think 30% of them are even needed for me.

If you are with a girl tonight I would just go with 20mg cialis and take something for the heart burn. Do they sell Rennies (calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate) in the US? That's the only brand I have used and they worked but I am sure most do. I recommended the cialis just incase vardenafil gives more side effects as it's new to you. Although maybe try it as I doubt it is going to be worst than severe heart burn. A bright red face is not a good look for a girl though so there is that risk :D I remember trying viagra for the first time with a girl and I was bright red and heat was radiating from my face and my nose was blocked so I could barely breathe :D

I have Peptid AC (H2 blocker) for heartburn but those are unhealthy to use and should not be used with any sort of regularity. Omeprazole (Prisolec) is even worse because it's a proton pump inhibitor. I had to take a Pepcid though bc it was so bad.

I think I will cut the Levitra in half and take 10mg. I just can't tolerate this anymore so I'm going to try not using the Cialis and see if this can be an alternative without heartburn. In any case, daily low dose Cialis has many benefits but I was doing 20mg, sometimes even 30mg. Bad habit that I got myself into many years ago that I am not proud of but it is what it is and I will try to fix the issue.

Peptid AC unlike PPI's can increase the bioavailability of metformin, as well speed-up renal clearance. PPI's on the other hand, has shown mixed literature that they interfere (inhibit) with the organic cation transporter 1 that I mentioned earlier (epigenetic-- developed) therefore exasperating gastro issues.

It may be one of the gazillion things that you're taking, as your trying to tease out what it may be. Which is a good idea.

That's good to know Pepcid AC can actually have some benefits since I have felt guilty whenever I swallowed one since buying it the other day. I would imagine that I wouldn't want to make it a habit, though. I feel so privileged whenever you teach me something like this :)

I really hope this issue goes away ASAP

NH, I may have forgot to mention (or maybe I did), I'm on 20mg omeprazole daily for a couple years now. Have GERD even off of gear. However, I still was having trouble even with the omeprazole as I mentioned above till recently. When I tried coming off the omeprazole, the heartburn came back bad. Even when I would run out and miss a couple days it would start creeping up on me.

The Effect of Famotidine, a MATE1-Selective Inhibitor, on the Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Metformin

Conclusions
These results suggest that famotidine may improve the bioavailability and enhance the renal clearance of metformin.

Proton Pump Inhibitors Inhibit Metformin Uptake by Organic Cation Transporters (OCTs)

Proton Pump Inhibitors Inhibit Metformin Uptake by Organic Cation Transporters (OCTs)

we derived pharmacophore models indicating that PPIs (i.e. omeprazole, pantoprazole, lansoprazole, rabeprazole, and tenatoprazole) are potent OCT inhibitors. We then established stably transfected cell lines expressing the human uptake transporters OCT1, OCT2, or OCT3 and tested whether these PPIs inhibit OCT-mediated metformin uptake in vitro. All tested PPIs significantly inhibited metformin uptake by OCT1, OCT2, and OCT3 in a concentration-dependent manner.

In the case of in-conjunction use of a PPI with metformin will consequently exasperate gastro intestinal issues.

It's odd. I haven't used krill oil in nearly 48 hours and I've barely burped at all today
