Expired Digestive Enzymes

I just found 2 bottles of NOW Super Enzymes and they expired 4/2013. Do you guys think there could be any negative of taking them/using them up in the next few months?

I'd bet they are still good. Most manufacturers put expiration dates on their products that are actually 6 months too short. We usually consider expirations on product a 'best by' date. As long as it hasn't gotten moisture or heat exposure they are most likely good.
A lot of pills get dark spots on them when they are bad.

Yep...they're darkish. I dunno if it's moisture or oxidation..
They've been in a cool dark place.

manufacturers are supposed to guarantee potency till at least the date listed then they slowly start to degrade after that. depending on the product it could start to degrade weeks to years later...........i would use them.

Wouldn't hurt to try them. If you become nauseous then throw them out!
