expired suspension ?

i have about 10-12cc. of suspension that expired dec 2000. do you guys think it would be ok to use it the next ten days before me next competition? it is steris btw.

I assume this is a water-based product. I'm very leary of water-based products due to possiblity of water-borne bacteria. That's rather old on top if that. I wouldn't mess with it - but like I said, I'm paranoid!

from when i get my susp made by a vet it has a 7 month exp date on it. probably for bacteria reasons.
