Fat Free Cottage Cheese

In the offseason with a scoop or two (50/50) chocolate whey and casein powder + splenda + cinnamin before bed.
 
Why in the offseason? Would you use it during cutting phase?

I am sure a lot of you can manage the carbs before bed if that is how you have your macro's timed but I prefer not to have carbs/sugars before bed. Hence why I said offseason.
 
Really high in sodium too. Even if you get the low sodium kind. I usually have it before bed too with some sugar free Jelly kinda like a dessert.

Cottage cheese is high in protein and low carb and fat.. One cup has 28 grams of protein, thats like a good size chicken breast...

I dont dig it too much.. I dont like dairy at all to be honest..
 
I love low fat Cottage Cheese, its a slow digesting carb/protein, great with Flaxseed before bedtime.

I always eat low fat cottage cheese with my big rump steak! Its like a sauce to me.

Go for the Low fat!

maybe I'll slather some on a big boiled chicken breast , possibly to wrongs make a right type thing.

I kinda like my "protien snot" as my 4 yr old calls it , simply whey mixed to the consistancy of peanut butter ,I figure that it alot better for me as a late night snack on a rice cake than peanut butter is.

Maybe the cottage chees thing will go over better this time
 
Tastes good to me but I'm also known drink a gallon of milk a day.

aahhhh , ok , still not a big fan but I think I may try to add a couple spoons of LBA's when they get here.

I did mix some course ground peper in it and put a little on a piece of flank steak and it wasen't to bad , certainly wasen't Maytag blue cheese but it wasen't realy to bad

I've taken cottage cheese and added a scoop of chocolate whey protein (or vanilla) and some splenda/cinnamon and mixed it up. Actually pretty damn good and you get a wide array of aminos and slow and fast digesting protein.
 
I tend to throw some almond butter in the cottage cheese prebed, gives a nice flavor. Also I switched to Friendship cottage cheese, 1/2 cup has only 3g of carbs and 16g protein. **broken link removed**

the smuckers sugar free raspberry jelly also works well if i'm in the mood for that sort of taste
 
sounds gross, but i mix cottage cheese and applesauce together... not bad either
 
I do this

1/2 can tuna
1/2 cup cottage cheese
black pepper
red wine vinegar (about a teaspoon)

goes down easy.

I tried this and its not that bad , does make a good late meal if needed.

at least it diden't seem to bad while I'm sick.
