What's the proper position of the belt? I see some guys wear it low on the waisT and others high toward the ribcage.

What's a good weight class for a 6'3 lifter?

I see that most guys squat more than they deadlift. For me it's the opposite. Is there an explanation for this?

1- Depends on your structure. If you're short waisted and have wide hips than higher belt is more comfortable. For guys with big bellies its easier to put the belt lower.

2-No such thing. Lift where you are comfortable at. The only problem with being tall and lifting in a lighter class would be you would generally have to be leaner and or have less muscle than a shorter lifter. This can bring down your total especially if you are a raw lifter. It is rare to see someone your height in under 200 or over classes.

3- What are your lifts? It is common for beginners or raw lifters to have a higher deadlift.

You will squat more than you dl mainly due to the fact that we wear squat suits which do help you load the weight on. At 6'3" SHW is the class that most are at your height.
