I said years ago the 212 was holding him back.. his body was just packing on too much muscle to bother with that class.. he will be a force in the open.. look how shaun clarida did in his open debut.. and he's not on flex level in my opinion

That's about the Olympia that has just taken place. The thread is about next year. Although the pic in the OP is heavily altered and not brand new. Flex is obviously huge for his frame and looks incredible but he isn't looking like that now. He definitely has enough size to be in the top 3 if he comes in crazy condition. He was recently in pics with Hadi and Ramy. He is bigger than Hadi and not too bad against Ramy (beats him on calves and forearms though). If he grows a little more and comes in crazy condition he could win the O. Although I personally think Hadi is better and Ramy obviously beats Hadi every year now so there is that.

Just thought that video is good because he talks about his decision to step out for awhile, his duty to his family. You get a feeling for what he is doing now.

He’s pretty short. 5’5”. But he carries so much muscle. I could see him coming in another 15 pounds heavier than the 212
