flex wheeler getting back into bodybuilding

kENNY WHEELER

We worked out and competed together as teenagers in Fresno. He has come such a long way since those days. Incredible physique. He still looks great to me!

He still looks good to me as well. I think making a BBing comeback would be a bad move, unless he were to do it totally natural, but for him I think that would be too hard and tempting so why bother risking his health even further? I met him at a club during the Olympia last year. I was pretty drunk but walked up and introduced myself to him and he was very cool and approachable we ended up bullshitting for a few minutes then I realized I prolly wasnt making any sense to him to dicided to end it there due to being drunk and nervous at the same time, lol. I get really nervous around the pros for some reason. :D

once we have cheated death we either feel greatful for a second chance in life or we feel invincible..he should thank the ole mighty for the chance he got after the car crqsh and the drug abuse and health scare...he looks great and should be remembered for that...not for not knowing when to quit

the guy Flex was fighting was scared shitless, didnt even give his all due to being scared, maybe could have even taken Flex had he stepped it up a knotch.

As far as Flex coming back into the BB arena we have to understand the pressure coming from that way of life(influencing people/money/etc.) and his mind is probably still conditioned on BBing. In my opinion I would say that would not be a smart move. When life gives you a second chance you dont go back to what jeopardized your life in the first place. when building your physique you are also destroying something within (the 2 go hand and hand) and in Flexs' case he has already done just that.

So why go back? only ans.. i see is to gain Fame and Money at the expense of his Health. Huh, all I can say is good luck to Flex if he decides to go back to that level of competition

I met Flex at Gold's Gym here in Murfreesboro, TN back about six years ago..He was a super nice guy so I was reallly sad to see all the health problems he's had esp with his kidneys etc. I hope he does not come back, as much as I'd love to see him onstage again, I think it would be a big mistake healthwise...he's had a super-successful career and he just needs to chill out and thank God that hes alive.

I think Flex had one of the best physiques EVER in bodybuilding. I've always been a big fan of his. Unless he plans to compete totally natural, I think he should give up the thought of competing again. The health risks just are not worth it IMO.

He is not natural now. He admits to be on HRT at about 200-300mg wk test.
And I dont see how average amounts of injectables would be so bad. But to go on a typical competitive BBing cycle, thats a different story.

damn he got tatted up didnt he?!

god help him... one of the best physiques ever! The man was blessed with genetics that maybe 1 in 1000000 have.

Bodybuilding is his thing he likes/loves to do. We all have something that we really enjoy and hopefully it is what we have the opportunity to pursue. Lance Armstrong has done it (although we know the situation is different).

I would think that if Flex came back and presented a new type of physique that shows that you can look great and support your health at the same time, he would get MUCH more media than if he returns to traditional pro bodybuilding because it would become a new type of story and marketing tool, instead of what we already know.

on one hand.....

yea I agree is it worth it, he looks great and healthy now and he is still a part of BBing and left BBing as one of the best if not the best to never win the sandow. He has escaped death many times and still lives to tell, and has had numerous health probs associates with BBing. But on the other hand, when someone has a passion for something and loves to do it, some call u crazy, some call u stupid, but u have to follow your heart and your instincts. He has a love for this activity, and as most know he may have been the most gifted to put on a pair of trunks. I dont know what the right answer is for Flex, happieness is the key to life no matter how long it may be, god bless him and his endeavors and I hope that if he does make his return it is a healthy and prosperous one. If he does not then he will alwayz be the amazing flex wheeler
gooey

The Tats

Although I like them, They would go against him if he did come back. He needs to know that people still consider him one of the great ones, and maybe if understands that even if he's not 240 ripped now, we all still remember him that way, and even if he's 200lbs he will always be Flex Wheeler, one of the great ones in BB. and should not get back in the game

Im a huge Dorian fan. But even I have to admit flex is by far more gifted.
I hope he comes back and beats coleman.

Flex IMO had the ideal body, what I would want to look like, To me what bodybuilding is all about. He had perfect lins. In saying that, I don't think he should make a come back an put his health at risk, even if it meant he most likely would be Coleman it still in't worth it.

that's actually a really good idea ric. Wonder if he needs an agent?

That's a slap in the face to the women who put her life on the line for him to live. He should call it a career and get a real job.
