Just read an article about food seperation.
You should eat protein and fat together, seperated from Carbohydrates.

- more nutrients are absorbed from foodes
- less food requires
- less waste an smaller stools
- greater energy
- gaining lean muscle mass and loosing fat at the same time is probable
- Allergic reactions less likely
- increased metabolism
- no digestive discomfort
- less acidity
- better health.

Any experiences about this diet ?

Thats why most people keep protein/carbs in the A.M meals and switch to protein/fat in later P.M meals. Also when an abundance of fat and carbs included in the same meal there is a much greater tendency for the dietary fat to get stored as bodyfat because they are both of similar molecular structure and the body will get it's energy requirements from the carbs first.

i follow this type of diet.
all carbs during,immediately pwo.all other meals protein/fat

although liyposis is still not your main enery sytem during this type of diet as opposed to 0 carbs

This is retarded.

Exactly it was in two books.
- " know how " from Don Lemmen, a nutitionist who died for two years in an accident.
- "underground bodybuilding secrets" byJames Jordan.

Some quotes:

"Combine your food strategically for added mass.

What foods you combine at your meals is one of the most importants concepts you need to know to help your body get the nutrients you eat from your stomache to your muscles and not on your waist or out your behind.

Protein requires an acid medium to digest where as carbohydrates require an alkaline medium to digest.
When the two are eaten together the acid needed to digest the protein is neutralized and so is the alkaline needed to digest the carbohydrates.

Digestion is impaired or arrested copmpletely causing the undigest food mass to cause digestive disorders.

The undigested food becomes a haven for bacteria.

Food combining rules:
- combine protein with fibrous carbohydrates and approved fats only
- do not eat protein and starches at the same time "

I don't know if I'd say retarded, but there is some validity to this. The only thing I have to back this up is my father had stomach cancer and they removed 3/4 of his stomach. In doing so, he had to eat in a completely different way. Meats or veggies first, then carbs, and finally fluids. Fluids are last because they cause a flushing affect on the stomach that causes more acids and whatnot to fill the stomach. With the added fluids and bodily fluids it's harder on the system to digest things. Now I know this is alittle different but I bet the concept may work. But what do I know :D

If you're looking to minimize bodyfat gain, then things like keeping these macros away from each other helps if you're eating above maintenance.

I would think that most guys aren't pounding high fat and high carbs together anyway, that's a recipe to chub up fast.

I've got every meal having a high protein percentage, moderate carbs and low-moderate fats/added in oils.

As far as gaining more muscle off this, I don't think over the year it'll make much of a difference. I think the amount of food, protein, increasing weights is what'll make the difference. Don Lemmon was sort of a guru, not in a good way.
