I think when women do that to themselves there's a lot more going on mentally than being focused and driven, definitely some underlying issues or subconscious desires manifesting there. Let's be honest, chemically and physically (sans going under the knife) she has done just about everything she can to change genders.

Don't get me wrong, her physique is amazing, and I could really care less about what people want to do with their bodies, but there's a level of obsession going on here that screams more than dedication.

Now, would I take it that direction if I were a female? No.

Subconscious desires: We all have them. It just so happens that most of us choose "socially acceptable" desires. Womens bodybuilding will stay in the fringe most certainly. However, I believe men's bodybuilding is NO LESS fraught with obsession and subconscious desires.

Why on earth would a man want to bloat and jack himself up like a cow for the slaughter, with blatant disregard for the cost of doing so? Self destructive? Temporary? Yes.

I still like those physiques though!

People find things they like to do and push it. That's the way we operate.
