Contest Promoters, Tres Bennet and Lee Thompson are pleased to announce that the 2010 NPC Jr.USA has been moved to Houston (Stafford), TX on August 28th!

The venue is
the Stafford Centre' ( Stafford Centre (Performing Arts Theatre & Convention Center) ).

The contest hotel,
Marriott Residence Inn (Marriott Courtyard for overflow) in Stafford has small kitchenettes and is beautiful.

Food and shopping within walking
distance.

What's the point of making another JR National show right before a pro qualifier?

Basically, you're going to get a bunch of top 10 nationals guys doing these JR shows as their warm up. Guys who are just trying to make progress to get to the nationals are going to have to go up against somebody ridiculous. That's what makes JR Nationals so hard... USA's are right after!

I think you'll have a lot of guys who just say "fuck it, might as well hop right into one of the big three shows" because it'll be many of the same guys.

There needs to be some kind of time lapse between these JR shows and National shows. Isn't that why we have different classes of shows? Don't the athletes need some sort of division among levels of advancement/progress?

(tangent- Shiloe Steinmetz really pisses me off because he's a national level guy who does EVERY FUCKING local show and takes qualifications away from guys just trying to get qualified for their first time... allowing no breathing room for the lesser guys to improve. If you win your class TWICE at fucking Team Universe, stick to National shows unless you need to requalify for FUCK'S SAKE!)

State/Regional...then JR Nationals/JR USA... then USA/NA/Nats???

There goes my plan of doing JR USA's after the Pittsburgh.
