I guess I have to admit that Im getting old it seems no matter how hard I try I cant maintain the weight I did 10 or even 5 years ago. Im hitting 41 this summer and I guess I just have to let the size ego go and go for a ripped look. Has anyone else had this issue with age or am I just whineing. Im still 215 at 5'10 but man I hate seeing dudes in the gym alot bigger than me.

tell me about it!

just wait until you get into your 50's LOL

But the way I look at it, the older you get, if you stay in shape, the difference in the way you look vs. the other men your age becomes even more apparent!

i have the opposite problem. as i get older i find it so easy so gain weight, but i find it much harder to diet down.

I'm 45 and in the best shape of my life. I just did a strongman contest and whopped alot of the kids in my weight class. Your just whining :D

Not sure why you can't maintain your weight at 40. I was the biggest
and strongest at 49. Check diet, training and so on.
As far as aging, my major problem is injuries and lots of them....

I'm 45 and still making gains.
Just a little more sore in the morning! LOL

It's motivational board members like You guys that show that age is just a #

i'm so old i was a cook at the last supper

and i knew captain crunch when he was private crunch

Stronger than ever

I'm nearly 46 and I'm stronger than when I was a D1 wrestler in the early 80s. Of course I didn't start watching DVDs until last year.

Maybe your GH level is just starting to get low. I know the older I get, the more a difference there is in the way I look from when I'm not on GH and from when I am on GH.

I feel your pain bro.I am exactly your age turning 41 this summer also. The older I get the more attention to diet is a must I have found.

I am 37, and look better than at 21(my wife says so to) when I was big into lifting. Nutrition, training, and gh has made me into a pimp.lol Boo ya baby!

I am 56 and entering the Masters Nationals this year. I am still gaining good muscle mass. I was 281# today at 8% bf (calipers). I was about 230# three years ago...I want to gain and keep getting big as long as my body can...of course I'm using Test and GH basically.......which I believe any man over 40 must use to gain alot of mass...

That is the key. GH & test are needed to insure MGF expression post-exercise.

In young people MGF expression post exercise happens naturally.

Loose this part of the process and you won't grow much.
