Thoughts on Hgh and cancer. If this was true wouldn’t we hear about bodybuilders getting cancer left and right? Yet I don’t remember hearing of any pros getting cancer.
Honestly both causing and accelerating? I feel like if this was really true lots of bodybuilders would have cancer. We all have some cancer cells so it’s just something I’ve wondered.
George Farah for example had cancer now days Jeremy Buendia but I doubt that GH was the cause and I deeply believe that cancer is 100% dependent on predisposition
but I'll be honest - if you're afraid of old age and bodybuilding are not for you just don't do it and the problem will go away
Not to beat up on you OP, but this isnt even a question. You kind of have an idea of your answer and just want confirmation.

It's actually possible that HGH may have a protective effect against cancer and this is why older people may have a higher risk of cancer. (and young people rarely ever get it - It peaks in teenagers and this is probably the population that has lowest risk of cancer, even lower than children, but i haven't checked any hard data or numbers)
HGH keeps the immune system very strong and the thymus gland healthy. Once you're really old, you have very weak immune function and thymus gland, this means your immune system can't kill off those bad mutant cancer cells and they can spread and multiply. This is also why old people die from simple flu/cold/pneumonia so easily that would not harm younger people.
