Well Mav it looks like your boys are gonna do it. I am pumped!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for Bettis to go out with the win at home. I have been a Steelers fan since the Steel Curtain defensive line days so I am lovin this. Of course my #1 team is the Pats but still this is SWEET!!!!!! I hope I am not speaking to soon though cuz it's the start of the 4th quarter now so there's still time. I have faith in the Steelers though so I am not too worried. Yea Babay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No team deserved it more. I give credit to Seattle. They played a good game and Matt Hasselbeck is a good QB.

Bettis and cowher got thier rings. The city got its " one for the thumb" and ben roethlisberger is now an outstanding 27-4 as a starting QB. Insane. I only wish I could have seen it in person.

One of my clients is from Pittsburgh. He hasn't been sober the whole season and now it looks like it will take him all of spring to recovery. Talk about some great fans and a town that loves their sport. Great city! It's a special town to Jess and I because we met there.

the refs won that game for Pitt. Unbelievable bad calls. I don't want
to piss off any Pitt. guys but some of the calls were really bad. Any-

Bullshit. The refs didnt give pit the game. The pushoff on jackson in the end zone was a push off. Plain and simple. The roethlisberger touchdown was a touchdown by a hair. The nose of the ball crossed the plain of the goal line by a skinch but it did.

The seahawks had the opportunities. They has piss poor clock management at the ned of the first ans second halves. Smack talker jeramy stevens dropped more passes than he caught and seattle was terrible on third downs.

And they missed 2 field goals. Grated they were from 50 yards out but a miss is a miss. Dont hate becuase your team lost. Its the way it goes.

I could have cared less who won! I'm glad Bettis went out with a win but the game was given to Pitt. Ben didn't score that touchdown, if your going to through a flag on the TD throw it both ways as if anything it was inccidental contact both ways fighting for the ball. There was no holding on the drive from the 1 yardline. Even the announcers called it. I watched this game with a bunch of Pitt fans and they even agreed. The one thing that matters is a win is a win. Seattle beat Pitt all over that field, they were more physical all around and showed more play makers than I thought they had. I think Pitt did enough to stay in it, but they peaked a 2 weeks ago against Denver.

And to add insult to injury, the blocking below the waist call was proof
of one sided refing. The guy was making a tackle. It couldnt get any

I did not care at all who won that game. I watched every minute of it and I have to say that it was truly dissapointing having the refs ruin what could have been a great superbowl. While seattle did have oppurtunities and squandered them the refs cost them big time. All the subjective calls went against Seattle. It was terrible. A black eye for the NFL for sure.

Big Ben didn't score. It was close but he wasn't in and the official shouldn't have signaled for it because he wasn't going to and then did after Ben put the ball across the goaline while laying on the ground. The official ran down the line a good ways with his ONE hand up which means he has the SPOT, not a TD and then after Ben put the ball across the line he put both hands up. Review showed that he was right in the first place.

That was not a push off. That call NEVER gets made EVER. Horrible call.

The holding that cost Seattle a first goal HORRIBLE.

The block below the waste on a tackle laughable, and just further proof of one sided officiating. That call set Pitt up for the big reverse pass that resulted in a score. You can't tell me that not one of those NFL caliber refs didn't know that you can't "block below the waste" when you are tackling someone.

It was a real shame. I am happy for Cowher and Bettis. Both are great guys that are good for football, and it is good to see them get a ring. I just wish it didn't happen in that fashion.

ABSOLUTE DISGUST

#1 -- I actually LIKE the Steelers, but THEY did NOT win that game. The Refs completely "homered" them. I do like the the storyline for Bettis and Co., but please that game will go down as one of the SHITTIEST officiated Superbowls EVER EVER EVER....

The Seahawks had the better team, they moved the ball down the field effortlessly. True Stevens FUCKED up TOO many times and DJ Hacket SHOULD have caught that ball in the endzone. Ben DID NOT DID NOT cross the plain. MAdden RARELY (and you MNF fans KNOW) critisizes the ref's calls, but even he was in disbelief... That push off on JAckson? PLEASE...Hines Ward has a REPUTATION in the league for doing that, and he was doing it just as much if not more than Jackson. This game SUCKED. THANK YOU REFS for ruining what could have been a great one..I mean for all we know, Seattle could have been up by a lot, but who is to say that PItt would not have an answer? They prolly would have.. And Joey Porter and Troy P. were dealt with easily. I hate it when refs have to leave their little mark on the game -- only this one was black and it stunk---it stunk bad. My heart goes out to the Steelers and Bettis/Cowher, but how they one will always taint this victory IMO.

Ben's TD was UNQUESTIONABLY a touchdown. As long as any part of the ball breaks the plane of the goal line it is a TD...it was a TD. Other than that...brutal game, abolsutley brutal. I am so damn tired of 40 minute halftimes too!!! It's a g'damn football game, play football!!!! That national anthem was atrocious as well. The NFL needs to get back to playing football and not putting on concerts.
