I've got cystic fibrosis so this is great news to me as my liver isn't it too great of shape. Thanks for the link! Might have to show my doctors incase they haven't heard.

Its still probably five years from human trials and another ten years for fda approval so if we're lucky by 2025 we'll have a cure. Its painfully long but at least its a good start.

Yes great news!! The advances in medical science will be flowing more rapidly since unlocking the dna structure. And as for science fiction Vs. Science fact......the only difference between the two is Time!!

Unfortunately many of the things we see as medical break throughs and treatments will never come to fruition for you or I and are held back in the US, unless it's expermental or trial and you are lucky enough to get into a study.
