Growth hormone test

So I know there is gh serum and igf test. I got my igf test today and it was at around 197, but my doc did another gh test which I know isnt serum and he flagged me for high levels, I know it isnt serum test cause my levels were 12.6 is too low to be gh serum. My levels were above the high end of the test result which was 7.1. Anyone know which gh test he did on me?

I did ask him, all I did was ask for IGF and I guess he put in for growth hormone. I asked the nurse if it was serum ok the results but she said she didnt know, doctor isn't in the office till next week. I mean is their another test for growth hormone besides serum and igf?

Sure, but no doc in his/her right mind would order this specific test unless all of the other standard testing options were somehow invalidated. Now off to the med school library to try to figure out what this other test could possibly be.
