give me something at least in the 90s...they should have had a 80s buttrock tribute...DEF LEAPARD, JOURNEY, AC/DC, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, and well I was going to say POISON but I could not get my fingers to type that.

I would prefer the PAY-PER-VIEW...TITTY BOWL

Was it just me or did the instruments way too high and Mick's mic way too low?

Or is he just starting to forget half of the words?

I couldn't hear half of what he ws singing, lol.

They sounded like shit, most halftime shows sound like shit as it appears just too hard to set up and perform and get all the sound checks and whatnot right in twenty minutes, thats just my opininon for wahtever its worth ( less thatn two cents, lol!)

I agree, sounded terrible. In fairness though, trying to set all that up in a couple of minutes plus an awful venue for a good sound, has to be really tough. All my wife said during the show was Mick Jagger still has "it".

I think there alittle tired! These fools have been playing alot lately. My moms seen them like 3-4 times in the last month or so. Lets face it there pretty old and probably need alot more time to recover and regroup than anyone else, lol I think with some rest they could be better.
But what I thought was horrible was the national anthem! That SUCKED

They were a safe pick for the halftime show. No worries about dropping an F bomb or a tit getting exposed. I don't know of any 60 year old's that would sound good at that age.

Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross.....still looking and sounding good.....dont know if they are 60 but I am sure they are very close (if not older than 60) and they would still put on a comanding performance.

Yep they sucked! The other guitarist (not Keith) was not playing worth a damn.. He was outta tune and not playing in time... I agree its hard to set up and play without a sound check and all that.. I saw these cats on their Steel Wheels tour many moons ago and let me tell ya, they kicked ass... One of the best shows I have ever seen and definitely the loudest... I do also agree that the national anthem SUCKED!!! Just sing the damn song without all the added bullshit...

Super Bowl half time shows are terrible. I am not really even sure why they bothered. I watched a dvd until the game came back on. And for the life of me I can't figure who justifies playing some washed up fuckers like McCartney or the Stones. At least have some washed up American band. I am sure Vanilla Ice or Blondie was available.

I figured they'de be dead by now . I did security at the Steel wheels gig here and they looked like walking AIDS poster boys then, that was 15 years ago. Did they Have walkers or O2? J.R.
