Where do i start..

At the age of 16 i was 5'5 17st4lbs

Im now 18 5'6 11.4.. I still got a little bit of fat and my body fat is about 27%

So yes i do have a high BF it needs lowering alot i would like it to be about 15-20%

Ive started doing weights about 2-3months ago aswell as Cardiovascular training 3-4 times a week and i do alot of swimming. For how many hours i put in the gym and how hard i train i should have a better body. Which is very upsetting.

I want my body fat levels to drop and bulk up is steroids the way i should go?

Has anybody got any ideas of what to do....

No, steroids are not the quick fix solution. You are still much too young for aas, you should continue to gain naturally for a few more years, and work to get your diet and training in check. Once these 2 things flow together, you will see the gains come rapidly. Post up your diet and training routine and there will be many of us that will lend a hand in critiquing it for you. I can't stress enough that before you think of starting aas, your age needs to go up and your BF% needs to go way down..........
 
To be honest i dont really have a diet.. The only diet i had was the diet to lose weight. I usually have cereal for breakfast and a meal after i get back from the gym thats about it. I was taking Xenical Orlistat tablets to help me with losing weight. I think to myself if i more than 2/3 meals a day ill put weight back on. I think i have a lot of fears of eating from being such a big weight at 16.

I train 6 days a week.

Monday 30mins C.V - Body Pump Class consists of 60mins and spending 6mins on each body part doing light weights very good for cutting up.

Tuesday - 30mins C.V - Back/ Bi's & Swimming

Wednesday - 30mins C.V - Chest & Tri's

Thurs - 60mins C.V Swimming

Friday - Shoulders & Legs

Saturday - 60mins C.V & Swimming

(Swimming can be anything from 30 lengths upto 80 lengths)

You MUST LEARN proper nutrition and exercise techniques/frequency before ever considering AAS. And you're much too young, as stated.

Eating 5-6 times ED will INCREASE your body's metabolism - eating 2 times ED it will decrease it and the body will store fat as a survival mechanism. And - you'll lose MUSCLE eating 2x ED.

I worked with a person who did nutrition based on body composition for all types of people. One observation he noted - competitive swimmers tended to have higher levels of BF than most athletes.

Do HIIT for cardio, not swimming.

Big bump on the intervals for cardio. By far the best way to burn fat during and AFTER the workout. Very interesting info on the bf of swimmers. Would never have thought that. I know the info is anecdotal, but any reasons why that might be?

If i was a little older say 19 would steroids be ok then?

Im seriously begginning to hate my body. I train so hard but it feels like i get little rewards.

Be patient bro. The gear, the workouts and the rest are the easy part. For me, and most others, getting your diet dialed in is the hard part. If you get that correct now, when you're still natty, it'll be so much easier to tweak it when you start AAS. Rome (or Ronnie Coleman for that matter) wasn't built in a day. If you get your diet & exercise right, you'll look like a completely different man by next summer, without AAS.
 
i guess so.. ive never really been a patient person.

So how do i go about finding the diet to suit me??

I hope i look better for next summer as im about to book a holiday abroad (my 1st time)

He thought it was the body's adaptation for the "cold" water.

This is really the key. If you take AAS and just eat anything, sure, you'll get bigger, but much of what you'll gain is BF. And - if you don't understand nutrition, you'll just lose all that newly-gained muscle by dieting incorrectly to lose the BF.

All you need Bro is a plan!

1) Proper diet. Plenty of protien, carbs and good fat's.
2) A sound workout program.
3) Plenty of rest.
4) Time in the gym: Consistancy is the key here.
5) NO DRUGS.

LEARN AND LEARN SOME MORE BEFORE YOU TURN TO AAS.
 
Peter, none of these are probably the answers you are looking for. But I agree with everyone here. Let's try and get your bf % down first. At your age, you have a lot of natural test flowing already. Really, I think your missing link is the diet. Need to figure out your metabolic rate and calculate your maintanence calories. Then lower it slightly for weightloss. I would try to lose 1-2 lbs of fat per week. Anything over this and you tend to lose muscle as well. Don't worry about total weightloss. Losing bodyfat should be your goal.
 
Peter, post your weight in lbs or kg's and I'll come up with a baseline diet for you to start with and we could tweak it from there by your progress, or lack of. I'll PM you with diet recommendations. LMack was on the money, and I just think you need a little help getting started. It may take a day or too for me to PM you.
 
72kg's or 158.4 pounds
