My current school/work schedule has got it almost impossible to scedule meals the last few months. Im getting my my protein 275+ g's per day but now much is from food. Im probably getting in between 100-150g's from whey. How important is it to have more natural sources of protein i.e. fish, steak, chicken besides whey? ALWAYS whey pre and post work out. Egg whites in the A.M. and lately I havent even been getting in any cottage cheese at night, just choking down another 50g shake w/water. Back to the question at hand, do I need to kick the whey and try to get more solid food in?

a good saying I always liked was "Eat real food to get real gains"
Sure whey may have a lot of protein but you're missing out on vitamins and minerals that are in meat/poultry and such. If you super strapped for time either make all your meals in advance or atleast have a can of tuna or something. I'm sure your boss would allow you to eat if you voiced a concern about it. I've found that people are usually willing to work with you on stuff like that, and if not say your diabetic and need to eat to regulate your blood sugar.

To be dead honest, thats not the only real concern right now. I had to go back to working part time due to my full college load and it has me strapped for cash! Truth is, whey is cheaper than chicken any day, so sad, but so true. Im getting in protein from eggs, tuna, and some beef here and there. How terrible are peanuts? I know they are loaded in fat, but they are convenient. But being a broke, busy, college student, diet cant be on my #1 priority list right now. But damnit, Im trying!

on a SUPER restricted budget like you seem to have you might want to consider drinking a lot of fat free milk to get some extra protein
