I have also been on the same amount of Testim for about 5 months... and just recently started to notice my nipples are a bit sensitive sometimes but not all the time. They sometimes get this weird itchy feeling as well. I already had gyno correction surgery 4 years ago (adolescent gyno, not from AAS) and I havn't noticed any size changes in my nipples since starting TRT... but I would not be pleased if it came back. Also, I think something like 95% of the gland was excised during my first surgery so maybe that reduces the chance of re-occurance. I may look into an AI anyways as it probably can't hurt...
If you have
already had Gyno surgery, you should never,
ever get
it or
it's symptoms again. (That's
IF the surgery was performed properly).
Oooops... Just read the remainder of your post. I don't know
WHY they would opt to leave 5% behind
BUT if they did, you still have
NO need to
EVER worry about developing gyno again.
PS: just because your nipples itch a little, doesn't mean you're actually developing gyno! Itching/tenderness is just a symptom indicating that your
estrogen levels may be
higher than normal OR that your
test levels maybe
lower than normal. The ratio of
estrogen vs. test is what's important in determining your risk factor for developing Gyno.
If your Dr. is recommending you wait a week or so, I hope it's because he has a
recent blood-hormone-profile from you, to support his course of action; or lack there-of.
