Got a question for you I have been bodybuilder for 4 or 5 years really serious I done a show in college three years ago I am all clean no "juice" in my body. I have trained heavy and hard over the years. I incorporate mass lifts i.e. clean and press deadlift and squats etc. I now weight 194 at 5' 10" I just recently went to the doctor and he said I have a hernia but to just watch it. I can't do heavy legs anymore or deadlifts for sure I was deadlifting 480 for 4 reps on my last set. I loved doing them thats what go me strong. So I ask all bummed out now .. where do I go from here ? My hernia is in thel lower abdominal region inguinal hernia is what it is. very small right now Doc says it may fix itself ? I wanted to do another show this summer and maybe do a powerlifting contest. sometime in the future. I had a lot of momentum going and now the wind was just knocked out of my sails. - C

Well it WON'T fix itself...I had double inguinals and I got them repaired before track season..Get it done, the recovery is short but make sure and get laproscopic surgery, very small cuts and fast recovery...you wont be able to stand up straight for a few days but you will be able to lift after a couple of weeks of course not heavey ass weights though..
