Hemoglobin levels

My endo just cut back on my Test script because she says my hemoglobin levels are high. It measured 18.5.

I see on line that normal for adule males is 14 - 18 and normal for men after middle age is 12.4 - 14.9. I'm 42 year old.

What do you who have experince with this measurement consder to be high.

18.5 isnt that bad. They reject you after 18.5 at most bloodbanks, so your borderline. If you were not on test i'd think this could be a concern, but i've never seen anyone with normal or low hemo when on test, even just trt. Best way to get it down is to stay very hydrated and donate blood as often as you can. You can only do it once every 52days, but its recommened to donate 400ml every month imo. Thats what i've done and mine has gone from 18.5 to 16.5 after 4months of donating.
