they could have killed people. they were selling mislabeled drugs. if someone was taking medication that had an interaction with the drugs in hi-tech's "supplements" it could mean death. i would bet their were deaths caused by this company. they should give those involved the death penalty imo.

agree...I was curious to know if they at least did that...
the other thing running thru my mind was, those products undoubtly had names similar to the real name...therefore the person purchasing the product would have been looking for similar or close to the same effect...So, if u know that a product is "claiming" to do the same or roughly the same u should take the same precautions...just a thought...now, if there product absoulutey touted that it did not produce the same side effects as the real deal, I would have a problem...yet, I do understand your point...
"Motivated by greed?
While the case grew narrower as it progressed, prosecutors said the scheme to sell generic versions of prescription drugs manufactured in an unsanitary warehouse in Belize was fraught with peril for unsuspecting purchasers."
The drug companies that went through all the testing and permits to even produce these drugs as generics would have been flipping out. The government doesn't like it when the system is bypassed either. It would have been in their favor to produce a quality product under sanitary conditions. I think 50 months is light as a sentence.
Our our good old government. A doctor told my father(a dentist) that they are actually being told to force chemo on patients who dont necassarly need it to make extra $$, yet this guy gets 50months. Im glad im not brining children into this world.
I know what u mean fourthgen...I have 3 childern and I worry ever day for their saftey and future...If the world in general keeps goiing like it is, our children will be in for a rude awaking...
