Can I call out a Home Gym Equipment manufacture.

Bought few thousand dollars in stuff. They don't have updated directions for equipment they made modifications to. Their customer service reps aren't any help when you call, they say to email with specific questions and they never respond and when you call them back to say they aren't responding to emails, they say they can't help you.

My next thousand is going to someone else.
 
I HEAR YA BRUTHA.. i called a manufacture last week to get an idea on a piece of equipment they had.. the lady who answered could not help me.. she transfered me to a guy in support who had no idea what i was talking about.. he finally said "oh, here is the boss.. he designs the equipment .. he can help".. he still had the phone in his hand when he asked the boss the question with me still on it.. the boss, obviously had something better to do then sell a piece of his equipment, said in response to my question.. "it is what it is.. cant tell him anymore than that".. without taking the phone or thanking me for calling ect.. well, i bought else where for more money.. but, the boss there took my call and talked to me about the piece for 10 minutes.. ill pay extra for that..

Call them up and tell them you want a refund and/or that you will be reporting them to the better business bureau. From my experience using threats such as those usually gets you somewhere with these jerkoffs...sometimes getting additional free shit for your troubles.
 
I use Body Solid equipment .
The best service I’ve ever had with anything.
If a part like cushion ,pad or what ever goes bad , you call them and you will have a replacement in a few days. No questions asked.
They have different warranties. I get the equipment with the lifetime .
I think I have about $5k in Body Solid equipment.
I know there maybe better , but Body Solid beats them with service.

It was Body Solid who I was talking about! I sent 3 emails to their customer service with NO response.

That is odd. A few years ago when I got my machine I didn't have the assembly instructions. I emailed Body Solid and the customer service guy sent me the pdf files a few at a time.

My bad experience came from the Weider home gym that I threw out before buying the Body Solid. I bought parts and cables for it to make it work more smoothly and one of the cables was the wrong one for the machine. I sent it back with full authorization and waited for the credit to appear on my credit card statement. It took a nasty email threatening to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get my money back, less the 15% restocking fee.

It is possible that the good staff moved on from the company and you were left with the boneheads. It happens alot.

I think so...because the person answering the phone sounded stoned out of his mind....

They sent the pdf file on one of the products I ordered, but they made upgrades and never upgraded the directions so it was the same old directions. They even said they have not new modified directions and I would have to figure it out myself. Then I had a question on another product, which they have not yet replied after 3 emails and phone calls.

Because I called the toll free number and customer servicesaid could not answer the question and told be to send email to their customer service Dep. instead.

I'll second this. I've been a customer of theirs since the beginning and have never had a bad experience. They are at the very top of their game.

Home gym equipment

I owned a gym for 3 years and dealt with elite fitness a lot. I still do. They are the best in my opinion. You can also buy high end equipment at huge discounts (often in new condition) on ebay if you know what you want and are a little patient.

Unfortunately I was limited for space and only a few manufactures made the equipment I needed with small enough specs.
