say whether on stuff or not, the intensity ive been training lately has been leaving me sore till about the 4th day mark, ive been following a regimen similiar to big a's protocol for a while but i just really upped the intesity lately in the workouts, regardless of on keto or bulking the sore is the same, does this sound like a average day amount to be sore? is there such thing as training to hard lol? and yes my pro, fats and carbs are good, pro over 400g's. usualy you get used to the soreness and dont feel it anymore, but i seem to be maikng it happen consistanly so im assuming thats good meaning im really pushing my muscles to grow correct? how long are you sore?

same boat.. if i get sore i stay sore for about 4-5 days.. always have..

There are times i think something must be wrong with me. I very rarely get sore. No matter how heavy or how much volume. But once in a while i will and it usually will only last a day or maybe two. But like i said, i usually dont get sore.

Same Problem

I have the same problem with Chest, and legs. Always sore after a workout. Biceps, back, and shoulders are more difficult for me to get sore. Shoulders have more of a tired feeling than actually sore

same here... i miss that feeling... :(

Allways get sore in chest, triceps, legs and back but never shoulders and biceps. Stay sore for 2-3 days. I do not think there is any correlation between being sore (DOMS) and gains, at least that's what I've read and experienced.

I usually get soar the day after I workout unless I do shoulders. Like someone else said, shoulders don't really get soar just a tired feeling. If I have a really good workout; however, I get more soar the 2nd day than I do the first day.

If I'm not getting soar I feel like I am doing something wrong. If you cant get a particular muscle group soar then take an extra few days off from working that muscle group and then come back and hit it.

Learning as I am getting older

But cutting volume of exercises and keeping intensity high, I am recovering a bit better. When I recover quicker I can train with more frequency. Beats the hell of training each bodypart once a week into oblivion where I am sore for days on end.

I'm sore for about 4 days on legs, 2 for calves if I hit 'em right. Back is rarely sore, unless I totally switch up the routine (maybe this is a clue). Chest 2 days, Biceps 2 days. Abs, rarely, no matter what I do.

ya i get sore all over- lats and bis on that day, chest and tris on that day, my whole legs but the calves not so much, i like being sore consistantly now i think i now know how to train and this lets me know im getting a good workout in, so basically i was never working out wright before huh, i have a good understanding now how they say less is more, cuz i used to lift alternating lower to upper every day, your muscles need alot of rest from some real hard work

Just like you man. I stay sore for about 4 days after training. Doesnt matter what I train. When I train more often, it decreases to maybe 2 days. But still sore.

When "on" I am maybe sore for a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

With nandrolone I am NEVER sore.

Yep, I learned that after years of training too and Phil helped seal the deal. Training high volume once a week was a very poor way for me to train. Once I changed to low volume and high frequency I started growing again.

Yeah, getting soar can be some what of a rarity for me sometimes. However it does occasionally happen. Remeber the good ole days of not being able to raise your arms in the shower to put shampoo in your hair? I do find however that since I have just recently been puttin effort into my wheels (about 6 months straight now), that there are many times when i rest for 20 minutes after a leg day sitting down and when I get up they are like limp noodles. I have even collapsed trying to climb a flight of stairs a couple times. As far as my other muscles are concerned, chest will be soar maybe once a month or same as arms. Back has a tendency to get some pumps in it for a day or two since I added dead lifts into the equation. Regardless, my growth has been great even when I am not getting soar, so I must be doing something right. But also since I have been switching my routines every couple months or so, I find with the new routine comes with some new soarness. And it typically last on average 1-2days.

I usually stay sore for about 3-4 days. If Im not sore, I feel like I didnt accomplish a good workout

Personally I feel like diet is a big contributing factor too. Since I stopped eating gluten, upped my veggies, and started drinking a lot more water, I've shortened my recovery time considerably.

interesting, i can def vouche for more water

Well im in the same boat as most of you, chest back and tris get sore for a few days as well as legs.

Bi's, shoulders, abbs, Calfs dont get sore much anymore
