How to Prevent Cavities?

Dentist told me yesterday actually, I'm a classic example...either people have tooth decay and no bone loss, or bone loss but no tooth decay....

I've had my share of cavities no doubt but I have boneloss beneath the gums and did that "scaling" to help grow back and tighten the gums at least....so I think your stuck with getting cavities

Although I did read the raw milk drinkers swear that they stop brushing their teeth and have zero dental issues....maybe it'll help?

I've been using vitamin k... maybe ill upped the dose just little bit..

i floss everyday and brush twice

i also use anti cavity mouth wash.

after doing some research I'm going to start doing "oil Pulling" which is big in india.... consists of take a table spoon of oil (I'm gonna use coconut oil) and swishing it around in your mouth for 20min. supposed to be great for overall mouth health

Basic things

brush and floss everynight, mouthwash
after a sugary meal like post training swish water around your mouth on gums etc
coconut oil pulling can help after a meal , look up some videos on it
If gums and teeth are getting worse each time get on doxycycline

U have to get the existing cavity filled in.. once the decaying process has started it will continue to grow and it will get worst..trust me go get your teeth cleaned every 6 months brush twicw a day and floss daily... this is how u can prevent cavities but since u already have one the cavity can decay the whole tooth which can be more costly in the long run.
Try and cut the frequancy of sugar down, i'm not saying give up sugar but just eat it at one time of day rather than throughout the day.
