How to properly run Hydrochlorothiazid (HCZL) HELP

hey guys, so i have a commercial to shoot friday, sat, sunday. my weigh in is Friday AM and i need to be as dry and light as possible. My doc wrote me an RX for HCZL and i was wondering the BEST way to take it...
I have heard a few people talk about take it a couple days before so you can play with the dose and water control?
I have 10 X 25mg tablets... Also I will be taking ChlorCol (spelling?) its the 10mgs RX potassium supp... so potassium sparing shouldn't be an issue.
Also i saw this posted by shelby... thoughts?

½ mg at 6pm on Friday (cut all water)
½ mg at 9pm on Friday
½ mg at 12am on Friday (Saturday)

1/2 mg is actually 1/2 tab

The protocol you laid out is similar to what I did my last show but the last dose was taken at midnight.
A lot of it also depends on how much water you tend to hold and are holding at those points, sometimes the last dose isnt quite neccesary but people do it as an insurance that they wont get soggy at pre-judging.

I would keep water in until 9pm, and take sips periodically after that. Before taking your 6am dose I would assess how you look, you may not need it.

Otherwise, looks good.

Dyazide protocol I DID 1/2 Each time listed. 2pm fri then 8pm fri 2 am sat morn 8am sat morn 1 after pre judge. Kept all water in until 8pm friday had high sodium and water all week before the show then fri water the same but dropped all added sodium added sodium back in sat.Only got 4 oz of black coffee 6am morn bf show...This is what shelby had written out for me. I know you have HCTZ but that is part of dyazide anyways.

maybe it's just because i've only ran an OTC herbal diuretic before, but I am just used to starting the process 5 days prior to shoot... then dropping water the day before...
so THIS must be extremely powerful and extremely fast acting?

Hydrochlorothiazide = HCTZ

People say HCTZ is extremely powerful, but I have to use it in conjunction with aldactone to really drop water. If I try to just use it the night before a show and day of, I won't drop anything.

Every 3hrs seem a little too frequent, but it all depends on how you respond to HCTZ.
