Eating carbs and blood sugar levels from excessive GH are two different things. Eating excess protein has a lot to do with blood sugar levels also, dont forget. This is why the ZONE diet is so important to be on. You can modify it for your needs, but it is by far the best diet out there.
It is about using food as a drug to build lean muscle. It is all about timing. Using carbs to raise insulin levels just enough to shuttle amino acids into the cells and prolonging this process with fats.
I've read plenty on using those methods for nutrition, and athletics, but never really linked it to any label or specific diet like the Zone Diet.
