Im going on a Cruise in December!! Is it too cold to swim?

Ok ill be going on a cruise in December through mexico and surrounding areas. My question is to those of you who have gone on one before in december is is it too cold to swim?

Im kinda thick right now so i figured if its possible to take my shirt off i would rather tighten up a little till then..

The correct answer is HELL NO it's not too cold to swim! In Dec of 07 I saw Cozumel, Jamaica and Cayman Islands and it was warm.

P.S. - To my disappointment, cruises were made up of families and old people. Every sober moment I had was a little boring. Sneak some liquor in your bag, restock when you're in Mexico. Get a soda card.

Been to Playa a bunch of times at Christmas and it averages low to mid 80's during the day. I always enjoy a swim down there while my friends at home are freezing their ass off. Fewer rain days in the "winter" too.

Due to my girlfriend's kids being in school and now her in grad school, I've only been to Riv. Maya, Playa and Cancun in the summer. Love the beches and resorts. I'm envious. I'd be so stoked to know I'm heading there to a resort or my first cruise in Dec.

I'd take a couple of cases of bottled water along .
The water on the ship taste like bleach with a shot of diesel in it.
And the cost of a bottle on board is about $3 the last time I went out .
And yes! Swim .
I also try to get a cabin in the middle of the ship where you are at the pivot point which is a lot less up and down than at the stern or bow would have.
