Im losing weight but my strength is going up...??

Hi all,was wondering on some opinions from you guys about this,been doing morning cardio 6-days a week for an hour(low-med heart rate),eating enough protein for my body-weight during the day(about 300grams)-i was about 257lbs. a month ago,today im 240lbs. im 5'11",im on test enth 600 mg./week with hcg 3xweek at 500iu's at a time,arimidex 0.5mg. 2-3 times a week ,and also(which i think is the main reason for my bodyweight)-im doing PGCL twice a day at 80mcg. a time.(been pissing every hour but been drinking at least 2-gallons a day).ANYWAY,here is the thing-my strength seems to go up as im getting leaner which doesnt make sense to me.any thoughts?
 
Well if you were losing muscle mass I would have a hard time believeing you would bew getting stronger as this happens. Many times we underestimate how much fat and water we hold. So it is not surprising to hear this. often Mr. X will state that he is around 9% BF when in fact it is closer to 15%. So dropping that much weight is possible without losing muscle. Unless the weight loss is sudden or very rapid as in more than 3 lbs or more per week, Unless we are taking DNP! Keep hammering away and if you start to get weaker then I would change something in the diet. If It aint broke, don't fix it!!:D

Thanks oldfella,i think a lot of it has to do with that pgcl,but also to the fact that iv'e been doing cardio A LOT more now.THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY THOUGH.;)

Pleasure MD1. Just keep an eye on things. As you get leaner add a little more protein and some extra carbs. Just keep the loss slow and steady. But what you have lost so far sounds about right for what you are doing. Not knowing how much fat you had before you started. At some stage though just slow it down so you keep that hard earned muscle and don't burn it off as well. Maybe back the cardio down to 45 mins instead of an hour. Just some tweaks here and there and now aim for about 2-3 lbs of loss per week.

Thanks again oldfella,and by the way here is my diet:

My diet is as follows:
5:50am-wake up,take a fat burner(to wake up),then i do cardio at low heart rate for 1-hour,i drink 20grams of bcaa's mixed with 20grams of LBA'S during.
7:45am-50grams of whey,1-banana,1/2 table spoon of macademia nut oil,1-fish oil.
9:30-9:45am-3 whole omega-3 eggs,6-egg whites(scrambled).
12:30pm-4oz. brown rice,8-10oz. of baked tilapia,1/2 table spoon of macademia nut oil,2-fish oil.
3:30pm-same as above(fish,rice...).
6:30pm-workout(again i drink the amino mix like the one in the am cardio).
8:00pm-50grams of whey,1-banana,1 cup of ezekiel cereal.
10:30pm-1-bag of shreded cabage,1-bag of tuna in water(about 45grams of protein),fat free dressing.

Most guys here would kill for that situation, me included.

No problem....just kind of a weird situation i never was -usualy when i get stronger i usualy gain weight-but i was just wondering on some opinions...THANKS!:)
 
I must be the only person on any bodybuilding site that drops weigh and also drop size and strength. Especially strength. Damn I one sick SOB

I use to diet for shows and get stronger up to 2 weeks before a show. When you see those veins and cuts popping out, you will feel better about the lesser weight. IMO, I think 6 days of cardio at 1 hour is too much.You probally need to adjust diet, or go to interval training at 30 minutes(mod-high) much more effective. Show us pictures, when you feel comfortable.

Well,sometimes i do 45-min(if i do abs or calf before the cardio),but is it too much even if its a low heart rate?(130bpm.)-i need to get a good digital camera that i can download pics to the computer.THANKS!!

Make note of this and keep it for future reference. I do this every show I get ready for. Drop fat, maintain weight, get leaner and get stronger. Then it plateaus out about two weeks before the show and I actually lose a few lbs then. But I have kept an managed to add some good quality mass to mt frame ion the process. Many make the mistake of changing their training when dieting and this is the fatal mistake. Why on earth would you stop doing what built your mighty physique just because you are going to lose some fat. All you will achieve is dropping a stack of hard earned mass and get smaller. The whole key to this is in the magic secret of the pros............DIET!!!

hey, awesome results! when in here are you doing the pgcl shots? also do you feel less stimulation from the fat burner (due to the pgcl).

I know i agree with you 100%,i will keep track(good idea-i never do),and see how far can i go,THANKS AGAIN!!(its a psychological thing you know...lol).
 
hey, awesome results! when in here are you doing the pgcl shots? also do you feel less stimulation from the fat burner (due to the pgcl).

I take the PGCL first time at 11:00am(90mcg.),and second time at 3:00pm(90mcg.)-so the effect of the fat burner is kind of diminshed by then,but i dont think it made me feel less stimulation,i actually sweat for 20min. after i do a shot,so i think there is also a strong thermogenic effect from it also.
Also,before i workout(at 6:00pm)-i take a preworkout energy supplement(i change them all the time,this time its super-pump250 by gaspari-THE BEST i used so far).
