infection????

Think this might be an infection? i took a shot about 6 days ago, and knotted up pretty good and has been a bit painful.

now 6 days later, its still hurts (not as bad) but its still knotted up and it feels as if it has traveled further down my thigh. just by looking at my legs, its very easy to tell my left leg is swollen.

Just need some advice here guys, think I should get it checked out?

if this is your first expereince with high mg/ml gear the exzact same thing happened to me. Give it a few days and it should disburse

I recently used some experimental solvent in some home-made gear. Wherever I injected it, I got knots, was warm to the touch, and hurt like hell - generally everywhere for 10 days! It was so bad in my quads (and glutes) that I had a hard time walking or bending over and couldn't even flex my quad - lost all muscularity.

I was 99% sure it wasn't an infection because this occured "everywhere" I injected it. Was you experience just at the one site and you quit injecting?

the first shot was a bit pain and knotted up some. now the second one is the one that is being the bitch. and yea after this shot, i did stop shotting. when i bend my leg and rub over the muscle, it feels as if theres "two pockets" of oil or fluid, i'm not really sure what to think right now, it is warm to the touch, but it's not red and when i say warm, i mean only slightly, not extremely warm.

Well if you think there's a chance of an abscess... then go see the doc. The longer you wait, the bigger mess you'll be in if it is infected. If there's nothing wrong... you'll get a lecture about shootin AAS. Either way... better safe than sorry.

i feel what you're saying. trust me, i dont want anything to happen to me, i have a 4 yr old and a fiance to look after and also trying to get another biz started that i think is going to be profitable, and i can't go and do suttin stupid and let em on their own just yet hehe.

but i went and took a nap, to relax my leg, not cuz i'm lazy hehe. but when i woke up, more pain went away and the area feels cooler plus not as hard, feels like it's "loosening up" so i'm going to wait until wednesday, and if it's still knotty even at the slightiest, i'm going to make a Dr.s appointment and have it checked out.

Seeing the doctor is probably a good thing if you're unsure. Of course you can always tell them you were injecting Sytheselen like I did

I wrote down all the ingredients on a list and told him it was a non-steroidal substance that I was injecting. But he still balled me out for injecting myself

What really helped with my recent incident was elevating my legs and frequently applying heat.

Also forgot to mention this re my recent incident. The pain started just a couple of hours after the injection which I felt was too fast for an infection to develop. It peaked after the first day then stayed that way for about 10 days. Then like overnight, everything was fine.

hmm yea that is suttin i forgot to ask, how fast does an infection take(i know there's no set amount of time, but the next morning would seem a lil quick?)

? cuz it started the next morning. at first i thought it was just the usual knot that happens on occassion(sp) but after it still stayed knotty and painful for this amount of time, i became a lil concerned. esp. because even when i used straight t400 it didn't bother me as bad as this one did. so maybe it's just i f'ed something up with the inject or so. and there's no infection.

also, right now i can actually "push" against my leg and its only hurting a tad, which is weird since thats alot less pain then just a few hrs ago, even when i first made this post, it was hurting alot more.

still knotty, but like i said, it feels looser and not as hard

You may have nicked a vein pretty good, and it just kept bleeding for a while. The oil and blood pooling there would leave a nice knot in your leg... and it would be pretty painful for a few days... especially if the stuff left ya pretty sore the first time.
