Injection Pain!!!

Guys, THis is all hypothetical and for entertainment ony.

Imagine a guy Pinns 3/4 ML Test E on Wednesday (200mg/ml variety from a domestic lab). The next day was pain, today it's even worse!!! The pain has kind of traveled down this guys leg towards his knee. Tried stretching it but that made matters much worse. I wonder if the pain spreads as the medications disperses? Personally I know this guy can deal with the pain as long as he has confidence that something isn't gong wrong. Did a search; not the only one to experience such pain onthe first ever injection.

I know the first shot is a bitch but should it hurt so bad that it hurts to stand or flex/stretch it?

he used the same pin to draw and poke. 23g 1" into the outerquad (dead center into the muscle head). Is it possible that the needle dulled enough while drawing to cause additional pain? or is it possible the shit is just bad. reputable board sponsor.

No redness or obvious imflamation or anyting so I think I'm good there; just bad pain.

well, most guys would recommend to at least use a different pin for both sharpness and sanitation.
As far as pain traveling down the leg to the knee. I know a guy that had that happen. Hurt for a week straight. knee even swelled up a little when it seemed to settle there. But it all went away on its own and turned out fine. I think he felt like he might not have injected deeply enough into the muscle. He corrected this after and has not had a problem since. He thought you should know.

Inetersing. Rumor has it the one inch Pin was not inserted all the way so maybe a suggesting to revisit the area of the injection and making sure it goes in far enough would be in order. I think it's safe to say, on a side note, that 800mg of advil do wonders for this kind of thing....along with a heating pad in ones bed. What a difference 8 hours might make.

I hope others will read this before injecting for the first time.

To follow up, the pain this fellow experienced was gone by last night (day 3), just a little tiny bit left is all. What did he learn?

1) As many have mentioned, spend the extra penny or so to use a nice fresh, sharp and sanitary needle to inject. The one use to draw is probably too dull and it just goind to cause more damage than is necessary.

2) Inject nice and slow, rather than just blasting it in like this guy did.

3) Do not leave any needle exposed, use that whole damn thing to make sure it's deep enough

4) Rub the area a bit but do not message the living hell out of it. In this case, the med was probably A) not deep enough , B) injected to quick and c) messaged way too much.... the result: the oil likely rose to the surface and leakes, hence that pain that seemed to travel throughout the leg and pool at the knee.

I'm sure the med was absorbed eventually though.

Add all this up on top of the fact that it was this guys first ever IM and I guess it's little wonder the pain was as bad as it was...

What A DIFFERENCE!

My bud tells me the second pinning was uneventfull. Hot shower, switched out the pin after the draw, Took his sweet ass time to draw (zero air bubbles), took a full 45 seconds to inject 1/2 cc.

Leg #2 (virgin) so I'm sure it will be sore but hopefully not as bad as the last time. Just that fresh pin seems to have made a difference. LIttle nerve graze on the way in though (slight twitch), assuming that's no big thing. He did not message the shite out of the site this time either. The only area for improvement I see is to rub the vial to warm it a tad.

he thinks he got it in the muscle solid this time because during aspiration, there was a tremendous vacume!!

Any suggestions or comments welcome.

QUESTION FOR THE VETS:
Is there something in the compound that can cause a racing heart rate etc. or is it more likely just nerves?

likely just nerves. most people's heart will race the first few times. I know one who had his heart race the entire first cycle.

I ahve found that shots in the quad are more likely to hurt fro a little while than glutes shot. Definitely use different need to draw with and shoot with. Try running loaded pin under hot water before injecting, thins out oil for smoother injection and inject slow. just my 2cents

Yea heating up the vial with hot tap water helps alot
