It's me again

Hey guys,

A while back, I posted my problems with my gf here:

Well to make a long story short, we ended up getting back together around July 1. We were together ever since, but when we first got back together, she told me she hooked up with a guy (nothing drastic), but I could never seem to let it go. Knowing that we were together for almost 2 years at that point (2 year anniversary was on Aug 18), and it only took her 5 days to let a guy touch her like that!! So I basically drove her away again by constantly bringing it up. This happened yesterday, and I already miss her like crazy. To make matters worse, she was with her friend all day and night and today, who is mostly responsible for the house parties and guys they always hang around with. So I am scared like shit on what happened last night and just hope that she didn't do anything. She gave me the ring I gave her back and the necklace. Also, out of my 4 college classes, she is in 2!! So now I have to see her 3 days out of my week. I just couldn't get over the fact that it only took her 5 days during our last break up.

I understand your pain. My wife strayed with her boss and I
am having a hard time getting past it. All they did was
kiss a few times, but the betrayal is hard to take.

If you want to be with her you need to let the fact that
she did find someone else so fast die. It could have been
that she was confused by her felling for you and wanted to
try and sever the ties. Or it could be her curiosity.
Either way, you two were not together when she was with
this guy, and she did come back to you.

Hang tough, wait and see what's going on. If you've driven her off by constantly nagging about something she's done, something you've supposedly forgiven her for, you may have damaged the relationship.

Find out. Then get back to us.

If she hasn't done more things you can't accept, then forgive her and don't ever bring it up again. Haven't you ever done something you were ashamed of? Would you want someone to keep bringing it up and throwing it in your face? '

Probably not. I am not trying to make you feel worse. You can't control her, all you can control is your thinking and your behavior. Respect is earned through time. If she's earned some trust and respect treat her like that. If not, find someone else.

Well,

I know this sounds crazy, but it turns out that we are now engaged. On Saturday night, I went out all night to a couple bars and clubs. I immediately felt the impact of her not being around. On Sunday, I knew she was at her friend's house. I couldn't take it anymore and went over with a ring in hand. Turns out, Saturday night she went to a party at the University of Delaware, got piss drunk, tried to make it to some off campus party at a guy's house, and ended up crying the entire time. She was in bed by 12:30 AM she told me. Her and her friend stayed the night there and were home by Sunday. We are both really happy and I want to thank you all for the support.
