Keeping the stomach in shape

I have read alot about ways to keep liver and kidneys healthy. But very seldomly anything about keeping the stomach in good shape.

Since my run in with that vanadyl and the hospital visit my stomach has been a bit strange. If I eat spicy food my stomach gets very distetended and I get pains. Same if I drink alot of water quickly(like 2 liters in 20 minutes).

On my eating days I also get some pains and very distended belly when eating alot.

Im guessing al the pills takes its toll on the stomach to? arimidex, nolva, proviron, ala, ephedra, t-3 and on and on and on.

Do you guys use digestive enzymes or something along those lines to keep the tummy in good health?

i take acidolprilus? (i cant spell) with each meal. also a general digestive anzyme seems to calm my stomach and reduce the gas, it also helps move the food on through. watch your fiber intake also, you should be eating veggies and live foods instead of all cooked foods. vegetables and fruits have vital micronutrients that you cannot replace.

Just make sure its kept refrigerated .. it keeps the active stuff .. you guessed it.. active.. =))

I have taken it daily for a while.. and it helps restore intestinal balance..

Also.. I am sure you are taking a ton of protein.. more than the body is accustomed to on a normal basis.. you can also try Betaine Hydrochloride.. works wonders..

Hope this helps a bit..

What's Betaine Hydrochloride do or for?!?!

Betaine HCL

It can help you digest more protein better.. without the acidic effects that the increased amounts of protein can cause.. I took it for a while when I first started training and getting my body used to the increase in protein.. it seemed to help..

Gut Walls

Nutrition or health of the gut is very important but because you dont see your intestinal wall most bodybuilders ignore it as a topic of discussion. If the intestinal walls are not healthy or if any aspect of your digestion is not optimised you decrease muscle growth and recovery. Pre and Pro biotics and various aminos such as glutamine are helpful to the gut walls (where nutrient absorbtion occurs) perhaps do a search on those topics because there should be heaps of info. out there.:)
