anyone know what the signs and symptoms are for K-stones??
I know I should google it...call me lazy...
Yes I know we are not Docs here and cannot diagnos anything...just a question
This is actually I question I feel very comfortable answering, lol.
I have been through tons of them before.
*Mind you these are normal symptoms, and you may or may not get all of them. This is just what I have dealt with personally.*
It will hurt like hell to piss. Like the tip of your piss hole will burn. You will have a slight fever, elevated blood pressure or higher pulse. Your back; right under your ribs (just barely under, like the bottom part), will feel like it's got tons of pressure (like it's being compressed) and/or tons of stabbing pain there. You might also have cloudy urine, or little dribbling when you pee.
You will feel like you have to go every 15 mins, lol and it's only a dribble here and there.
When I get them, I get tons of pain on my flanks, cloudy/bloody urine, and pain at the rim of my pee hole.
SOP for a kidney stone is to go to the ER.
They will do blood work, start and IV, give you pain meds/nasuea meds, and either give you a CAT scan or an IVP (that's an IV dye X-ray). They CAN NOT (over 75% of the time) see a stone on a standard X-ray or an ultrasound. If they try that, ask for an IVP or an CAT scan.
Good luck to ya man, they hurt worse than childbirth, lol!!!
