Just curious to see what people do when they have a lagging bodypart they need to bring up. Especially some of you big guys, how do some of the pro's, when already heavily muscled, train a weak area?

Is there any common mindset or denominator, or is it as unique as routines themselves? I realize something will have to change, but am wondering if there is a "common" change most will try first?

This is predicated on also realizing if you are overtraining the body, you would probably back off the frequency, and maybe train less often but more intense, or heavier...as an example. But all else being equal...

i'm by no means a Pro, but I know for a fact that many Pro's "build up" a lagging bodypart with Synthol. Look at Bi's, Tri's, Delts, Calves. Never been a fan of it myself, but to each his own.

Some people might suggest Site injections. As for me, I'm a "pussy" and always stab myself in the ass or leg.

As for training wise, i suggest some totally off the wall, and totally different training for that muscle group thats lagging. Something to really shock it back to life.

I have lagging hamstrings/traps/forearms. This is due to the fact I never trained them. The only way I figure to help them catch up is to nail them 2x a week!
