Lifting with a torn tendon.

How much more damage could you do if you have a torn tendon in your wrist if you say lifted light? Going for volume just to sort of semi stay in shape kind of thing. I cannot get surgery done right now and the wrist doesn't hurt while not lifting but I can wrap it pretty decent and give it a go. The only thing that got me thinking is that I had incredible pain when I was lifting for a while and didn't think anything was actually torn (or I am just too stupid to see doctor's immediately)... point being I lifted with it torn for a few months so how much more damage could i do?
 
Not sure about the wrist. A year agi yesterday i double tore the tendon below and above the left elbow from doing heavy skull crishers. Saw an orthopedic surgein and he said I fucked it up so bad that he couldn't repair it. Told me the damage was done and if I could handle the pain to keep lifting. So I did. My left elbow looks like shit now but the pain is still there only if i do skulls. But the first 3 months everything hurt on all pushing movements.

i also dont know bout the wrist bud my long head bicep is torn completely in half on the right side. doc told me unless i wanted to have surgery for cosmetic then i would be ok still hurts pretty good at times. I might get it fixed just because my right bi is alot weaker then my left and in the near future if i wanted to do a show i would def. look weird at 6 percent with a torn muscle lol.
