Low Body Fat & Tendon Problems

I have had several knee surgeries to repair my patellar tendons. I wanted to get back to dieting and lose some body fat. Is there a certain % of BF I should try and stay above in order to keep my tendons healthy? I have heard of guys tearing muscles with low BF but wasn't sure if it applied to tendons. I won't be doing heavy leg work at all for the next 6 months or so but will be riding the bike a lot and light lunges and stuff like that.

to get to low body fat you usually have to deprive your self of noutrients and calories. hence tendons wont recover as well. that is why i see low body fat being detrimental.
