Its debatable, but I think walnut has omega 3 and mac nut is that best monusaturate. I read about these two nuts a while ago, but they both are very good but for different reasons. Somebody correct me if Im wrong.

You take Mac nuts for Mono fat, not for omega's...
Walnuts are high in Polyunsaturated fats, which are actually not good for you...some studies have shown that there's an increase in the chance to develop different cancers if your poly intake is too high...I stick to monounsaturated.
The ONLY heart healthy omega 6 fats are CLA and GLA

i dont know guys, from my understanding the poly and mono thing is as a big concern vs the ratio of 0-3 to 0-6, for you to say that poly is bad, then your saying fish oil is bad thats all poly and high o-3, pb is high mono and high 0-6,so whats up

There is a big difference between fish oil, and say corn oil that is used in Tostitos. The corn oil is the polyunsaturate that is linked to cancer and all kinds of other stuff. Wolf, has it right - two nuts that are good for two different things.
Walnuts are fantastic. In my opinion they are the best to use and for such a small portion you get a nutrient dense serving of good fats. I keep mine in the fridge.
pecans, walnuts same shit to me man, and I love them both, come to think of it I love all nuts, almonds, brazil nuts, hazel nuts, even peanut and I know peanut aint even a nut
