MMA Fighter rips out friends heart....while he's alive

NEW YORK (CBS) Jarrod Wyatt is charged with murdering his sparring partner, Taylor Powell, after he allegedly removed his friend's heart, tongue and most of his face.
According to reports, police who responded to the March 21 scene in Klamath, Calif. said the 26-year-old mixed martial arts fighter was under the influence of psychedelic drugs when he allegedly drilled an 18-inch hole into the victim's chest.
Wyatt was apparently convinced that the world was about to end and that Powell, 21, was the Devil, according to the Times-Standard.

"Satan was in that dude," Wyatt allegedly told Del Norte County Police Sgt. Elwood Lee, who responded to the scene.

Lee told the northern California paper that Wyatt also cooked Powell's severed body parts in a wood stove because he thought Powell was still alive.

According to his lawyer, Wyatt suffered a psychotic breakdown because of the drugs.

"My client was trying to silence the devil," Wyatt's defense attorney James Fallman told the Times-Standard.

Wyatt was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He appeared in court Tuesday, according to the paper, but did not enter a plea.

People have been known to commit suicide and other unimaginable acts while under the influence of certain substances....I think some dude even cut his own abdomen open and ripped out his intestense while under the infulence before. This type of thing is not unheard of. BTW, read your own post...He used a drill as prime has already pointed out to you...Who cares or believes what some chick posted on the site the article was posted...doesn't make sense.

I'm so surprised to hear this because me and my supervisor were just talking about this at work today. I happened to mention something about doing research on the drug LSD on wikepedia and he told me its similar to something called" Mushrooms , which is what he said this guy was high on . He wanted to make it clear to me any hallucinogenic drug is crap and this is what a bad trip can lead to so avoid shit like this .

lol that wasnt shrooms. probably pcp or a large dose of acid. I had a friend who bought 8 hits of acid for him and all his friends. He decided to take his tab and take a nap while he waited for everyone to arrive. Well I guess in the middle of his nap he ate the rest of the 7 tabs and was tripping balls. His dad came home and thought he was the devil, ran outside to which the outer world resembled hell. But when he closed his eyes everything was normal. So he was running down the street with his eyes closed, butt naked cause he was running through "flames"

i did tons of acid, angel dust and mesc back in the day, had bad trips, never hurt a fly........................lets not blame the drugs too quickly
