Month long cold that won't go away

Anyone ever have a cold that just will not go away...?? been right around 4 weeks now. I've never been sick near this long and don't know what to do. Went to the doc and got a Rx for Antibiotics but they don't seem to be working.

I did once and it was a really bad sinus infection that I got while I had a cold, and it took some strong ass antibiotics to finally get rid of it.

You may have some seasonal allergies....I know people who never had them, but developed them years later. Try an allergy specialist.

Well I went to the doc again and she gave me a shot and another type of antibiotic....so I guess we'll see. She did say that people where experiencing longer than normal cold symptoms as of late.

I do have very bad allergies and got sick when the weather changed. This happens every season for me but just never to this extent. Kinda sucks when your allergic to mold, weeds, grass, and trees...
