Carbs after. 50-100g of dextrose carbs is what I do after every workout. Carbs before make me tired half way through my workout. I usually eat carbs 2 hours prior to my workout also.
As Alcatraz stated - simple carbs after you workout. You should have adequate glycogen stores and BF to get you through a workout - that is unless you are working out "longer" that you should be
