Most Essential Pre-Workout ingredients?

Caffeine
Citrulline Malate
Agmatine
Glycerine


This ^^^ is probably perfect along with some EAA's.

I've interested in working some sort of Nitrates into that mix as well.

If I were designing the perfect pre workout I would probably add in some taurine, pycnogenol and another mental stimulator (could pick from a list).

I also love arginine nitrate or any form even with the bad literature attached (not as good at CM etc). Although with added agmatine and citrulline malate it would be void.

As others have stated pre workouts are not needed at all and I have gone years without them but fuck they can be fun :D

My experience and opinion.

1/ be adequately nourished (real food)

2/ be well rested and recovered

3/ have a positive attitude, desire and motivation . . . get our head on right

In short . . . skip the so called science and up the desire.

If you think you need what most are recommending, well . . .

Could say way more put would probably piss of 99% of the members, the Mods
(bless them) and Big A (Bless him too); ass kissing in the last two cases for sure ;)

Anyone here tried AMP-Citrate? Does it really work in a way like DMAA did or is it overhyped?
 
I prefer caffeine free pre-workout supps. Caffeine causes vasoconstriction, which is counter intuitive to the NO supps we take. We want dilation and increase blood flow and nutrient delivery.
I add caffeine only if i need a pick me up, but most of the time I suck it up and after a set or two I'm as motivated as I would be with or without it and the pumps are noticeably better without caffeine.

As far as my pre-work supps go I usually hit
citrulline
taurine
agmatine sulfate
glycerol monosterate
 
About half hour before a workout the best thing to get me amped is spending a solid 15 minutes behind closed doors with my laptop and some headphones :cool:
 
Pre-workout: A strong cup of coffee, a big rice crispy treat, and 20-30mg of dbol.
 
not including the pre training meal that i feel is the most important of all these "ingredients" .... but under 30 minutes until training id probably go with:
bcaa
fast carb
creatine mono
baby aspirin or like 5mg cialis
Glycerine
good amount of H20

if im dragging then a cup of coffee

I should have added synthetine and syntheselen to my pre workout ingredients. Those 2 give me great energy, muscle and cardiovascular endurance, vascularity and health benefits so are perfect pre workout. I dose 3ml of each and the results have been great so far.

Speaking of preworkout supps i think i need to take a break from them. Been using them for i dont know how long...was even doing a morning dose as a substitute for coffee for a few months. Was almost "addicted" in a way. :(

Isnt that massively inconvenient doing 2 full 3ML pins before EVERY workout? :eek:
