This ^^^ is probably perfect along with some EAA's.
I've interested in working some sort of Nitrates into that mix as well.

If I were designing the perfect pre workout I would probably add in some taurine, pycnogenol and another mental stimulator (could pick from a list).
I also love arginine nitrate or any form even with the bad literature attached (not as good at CM etc). Although with added agmatine and citrulline malate it would be void.
As others have stated pre workouts are not needed at all and I have gone years without them but fuck they can be fun
