Movies today suck. Nothing but propaganda disguised as entertainment.
it's not new, but one recommendation i have if you like horror movies: "The Witch"

A really bad that it is good movie made by some students at Miami University. The budget was $50K and I believe Amazon bought the movie from them for $1million. It is comically bad but I also enjoy Alligator, Piranha, Gargoyles, Tentacles, Ants, Shockwaves and other bad movies.

Shockwaves is also free on Amazon right now.

Dude, now THAT was a phenomenal movie! Saw it a couple times at a local theater that plays more experimental/artistic movies when it came out.

Extraction 2 is a great action movie and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was better than I expected.

I almost didn´t watch "Kandahar" with Gerard Butler and Travis Fimmel because the plot was a bit similar to Guy Ritchie´s The Covenant, but I gave it a chance because I like Butler and he was good in "The Pilot", it is a pretty decent flick.

Bladerunner. (A classic, yet to equaled.)

Once Upon a Time in America. (Sergio Leone, wonderful long storytelling.)

Glengarry Glen Ross. (David Mamet at his best.)

Locke (Tom Hardy, a much overlooked performance.)

Babel. (Sensational in every regard.)

House of Games. (Mamet at his second best.)

Crash. (A winner on all accounts.)

The Game. (Clearly one of the best.)

Nashville. (Pure Altman.)

Chinatown. (Polanski unequalled.)

Raging Bull. (Classic Scorsese, love the black and white)

The Conversation. (A gem from Francis Ford Coppola.)

Jackie Brown, and Pulp Fiction. (Tarantino's at his best.)

Mulholland Drive. (Love this by David Lynch.)

Pluto TV is going kaiju crazy with the just-announced Godzilla Channel, a FREE channel that will air Godzilla movies and nothing but Godzilla movies, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

ComicBook.com reports, “Pluto TV has announced a new Godzilla channel filled with not only classics such as the original 1954 film, Godzilla vs. Megalon, and more but even left-field additions such as the animated Godzilla: The Series from the late ’90s and early ’00s. But the biggest surprise is that this new Godzilla channel will also offer up seven Godzilla films that are exclusive to Pluto TV as fans won’t be able to find them streaming anywhere else.”
