multiple tears in groin

yep im fucked rite at the start of summer..Im soo angry at this adductor and in general,,,i hate being limited so bad..its driving me nuts and its only been a few weeks...i chew people out for no reason, i am all over the place horomone wise because im upset at this tear..i just try to keep my head up and positive but its hard.

^^^brother ..all your posts in this thread sound absolutely horrible
..i mean they hurt to read!!

..i remember you avatar/handle from different boards ..you'v been around for a while

..PM me if you need any help with those PEPTIDEs ( TB500 / BPC-157 ) ..cuz damn you sound like you'r hemm'd-up pretty good

.

I learned the hard way about sports and muscle mass, several torn muscles, everything we do in the gym is counterproductive to injury prevention in ballistic sports, my tears happened in my late 20s and early 30s sprinting and playing basketball. I mean no one can really sprint anymore past 30 unless they do an enormous amount of work to maintain that ability, especially if you once did these sports at a high level, then it's even worse.

Your number one goal should be to just worry about inflammation, minimizing the inflammation is the key to recovery, which means elevation, ice, etc. Removing the inflammation is the key to scare tissue modeling correctly.

Damn that sucks I'm sorry to hear stay strong groin injuries are very painful

Thank you and yes i will reach out to you very soon thank you..yes lifting is very counter productive, my dr blames my tear on my high test levels, i know its partly true but partly my fault to for not making up my mind to just hang up my cleats at 47...

depends on your definition of work around it. can i limp around the house and finally move this peg leg into my truck now...yes.... but i agree with who ever stated im months aways from being close...im def going to try the peptides mentioned above..

Yeah, it's going to take some time. I suffered a left groin tear (fortunately in the muscle belly, not at an insertion) while doing vertical leg presses. It was three months before I could even think about light leg work. From what you described, your multiple tears are much worse than what I experienced. That said, I didn't avail myself of things like BPC-157 or TB500, so maybe you'd fare better with those things than I did. Good luck in your recovery!

I agree. In addition to ice and elevation, I'd add compression. I have Mark Bell's Hammy Band and wear it up around the groin area. Since this area might be more susceptible to injury again in the future, the OP might consider wearing a Hammy Band during leg work in the future. Kelly Starrett suggests that wearing the Hammy Band while squatting, lunging, etc, can even help break up any scar tissue formed due to injury.

Absolutely true about the inflammation.
