Same here, and speaking to your username I tore my pec completely off the bone in a static line injury because some Cherry LT got scared and launched his static line instead of handing it off, and I got wrapped up in it

I have over 2000 recorded jumps…less than 20 static line..fuck static line right in its ass.

Wow dude that is crazy! Do you still skydive for fun? You ever used a wing suit? That's an insane amount of jumps! Over 2000, that's like one a day for 5 years.

A lot days we did 10+ jumps..I’m closing in on 40 and have been doing it since I was 18 for work and fun..still do it for fun weekly at least. I have friends with over 5000.

Keep in mind..I don’t know exactly how many jumps I have..could be a lot less..the SOF world as a whole is known to pencil whip the shit out of log books..but I have jumped a lot over the years

Never did wingsuit..was going to get into that and had kids so I dialed it back a little..I’m sure I’ll get divorced in the coming years and will do wingsuit then..

I had severe tendonitis in my elbow for years before the tear.

Mine was while doing a stupid burpee style drill. Lol. F burpees.

I always wondered if SF guys used those or maybe I just need to quit watching black hawk down all the time. I did recently watch The Land of Bad which was a great movie but if you ever see it. I don't know if you like war movies but it is one, if you ever see it and can tell me how real it is, please do.

Wel! You might like the Land of Bad its about 3 Delta operators and an air force comms guy that claimed he was not "Tier One" which I remember you had said something about that in the past and I googled it. Its a sanitized mission and is really a cool movie but it uses a Vietnam era style helicopter I just wondered if its realistic or not. Besides that helicopter part....well I don't even know if that's realistic as well anyway its no BHD but surprisingly good. Its kinda like a Commando but with 4 guys and air support.

I know a couple dudes that were in the Iraq/Afghanistan and one I was told not to even bring up the topic around him as he had some pretty severe PTSD. So I don't want to seem insensitive.

Sucks. One thing I refuse to do... move furniture. Heard too many people snapping the bicep carrying a couch, tv etc. sucks to get hurt at the gym even worse outside the gym
